Our secondary logos include academic departments, divisions/subspecialties, centers, campuses, and support departments. All logos must follow must follow the brand standards and logo guidelines detailed in this manual. Only officially recognized departments and centers may have a logo.

CHOOSING GRAPHIC FILE FORMATS

To achieve consistent representation of our logo, the following best practices should be observed before selecting a file format for any given design piece.

PDF: This is a “vector” file, scalable to any size. A PDF displays the exact same content and layout no matter which operating system, device or software application it is viewed on.

EPS: Encapsulated Postscript. This is a “vector” file, scalable to any size within graphics software such as the Adobe® Creative Suite. Also usable within PowerPoint.

PNG, JPG: Bitmapped formats that have fixed resolutions. Do not enlarge these files, or pixels will show.

TTUHSC Arch Logo

The Arch logo is an acceptable replacement for all former spirit logos and is approved for use on apparel or promotional items (T-shirts, pens, hand sanitizers, water bottles, etc). It is NOT approved for use on interior signage, exterior signage or formal communication.

When designing on dark backgrounds, this logo, containing a contrasting white mark, should be used.

The Presidential Seal logo represents the formal authority vested in the university and the Office of the President and is reserved for official presidential and ceremonial uses only.
